  • An Event So Good It’s Scary   http://clintoncountychamber.org/ Annual event in St Johns; Daytime trick or treating at participating businesses.
  • Turkey Feathers – one feather = $1 funds raised go to Capital Area Community Services to help with holiday food or emergencies
  • Community Thanksgiving Service – This years’ service will be Nov. 20, 7 pm at Agro Liquid Building on M-21 west of town.
  • Christmas Giving Tree – provide clothing item requested for a name on our tree
  • Christmas Eve Offering – for Benevolence Fund to provide emergency assistance to members of our community
  • Prayer Ministry – weekly joys and prayer concerns
  • Noisy Change Offerings – collected by the children on the 2nd Sunday of the month usually goes toward the Haiti Hot Lunch Program
  • United Methodist Women – meet monthly
    1. Provide Funeral Lunches for church families (See Funeral Policies for details)
    2. Annual Rummage Sale – to support pledge to missions
    3. Collecting pop tabs for UM Community House in Grand Rapids
  • Neighbors Program – a ministry with new immigrants to our community that includes English language classes and translation service. If you are interested in volunteering or to know more, contact the church office.
  • RAK – Random Acts of Kindness – in the past this has included
    1. Coffee and doughnuts for the Courthouse workers who share our parking lot during the week Winter 2016
    2. Laundromat Day Summer of 2016 and Spring 2017
    3. Cookies for the Police & Fire fighters Winter 2017; June 2017 Cookies for the EMS workers
    4. June 2017 – meals for some of our shut ins and special members
  • Our Adopted Classroom – Jennifer Smith’s 1st grade Class
    1. Volunteer class aids, readers
    2. Provide classroom materials and Books for summer reading – a list of needed items is available from the office
    3. Collecting Boxtops for Education
